    FireWire Drive -all-options refused

OK, so I need some help.

I was running Ubuntu, and had an external fire wire drive connected. It was formatted and used with Ubuntu.

However, I decided I liked KDE better, so I did a complete clean install of Kubuntu.

Now, when I plugged in this fire wire drive, it appears on the desktop.

However, when I try to open it, to view files, I get the following error:

    hal-storage-removable-mount-all-options refused uid 1000

At this point, I am fine reformatting the drive if I have to. But, how can I access it so that I can either view it or repartition it?

    Kubuntu has it as /dev/sdd10

    Thanks!!!
