    look before you click

in a previous post "java problems" I noticed a problem that "new guys" should be aware of. if an install looks to be "stuck" try LOOKING AT THE TERMINAL OUTPUT!!! I have found over the course of the years that when an install seems to be "stuck" it is probably waiting for input from you!!! by that I mean, click on any button that will show you output from the install. It is asking for your input. computers are stupid!!! they can ONLY do what you tell them to do!!! if the install needs to have a question answered, PLEASE DO NOT JUST ASSUME IT KNOWS WHAT YOU WANT. it askes for a reason!!1. If you choose the default chances are it will NEVER perform thet way you expect it too.

Don't tell that to the newbies - tell it to the coders who aren't ensuring that a request for required input is being sent to the GUI.
