I am trying hard to connect to my university wireless network through Kubuntu but have remained completely unsuccessful. The network requires WPA-Enterprise encryption, using PEAP and TKIP, with our obvious login and password. I could not find an option anywhere in KNetworkManager, nor in wicd. wicd comes the closest with at least being able to SEE the networks, but when I select the PEAP and TKIP encryption and enter in my credentials, it never connects.
I have not had any problems with WEP or WPA networks in the past two or three weeks, nor with wired connections, but WPA-Enterprise seems to be a problem. Does anyone know how to get this working? Please?
