hi. i need help installing hostap drivers for my wpc11 ver3 wireless adapter. i can't seem to connect to wpa encrypted networks and i'm guessing it has something to do with the preloaded orinoco drivers so i wanna replace this with hostap. i was able to download the hostap driver from http://hostap.epitest.fi/ but being an absolute newbie i dunno what to do with this, the readme file doesn't help either. i also wanted to know if installing the driver is the same as compiling a kernel with hostap patch injection. i found instructions to do this in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...stap+injection but i'm not really sure what this does. i would appreciate all the help i can get. tnx..
