Xgl or Aiglx for Water Effect??

Hello I'm new to Linux, I got compiz-fusion installed with Kubuntu 7.10 Gusty, When I frist installed compiz fusion, everything was ok, no plms at all, however I Install something by mistake(don't know what it is) and now the only plm i have is the Water effect, it's on and all but when I press Shift+F9 my computer switch to a slow mode and it's raining slow as it was about to froze. I disable it and still everything I touch is slow unless I press reload Window Manager (from Compiz Fusion Icon) Need help here! Dunno if it the driver or something
