Hy,
I'm new in Kubuntu (so I guess its' the good place to post...) and I have a strange resolution problem : the low part of my screen and the left part are not visible.
It's seems like if the image was too large for my screen.
So, I tried to change my screen resolution (I'm on 1280x1024) but I only obtained a dark screen and no way to go back (apart a reboot).
So I look in numerous forums to find a way....
I change the file xorg.conf (copy at the end of the post) but I always have the same problem.
I also tried to change the graphic driver but the problem was the same.
The strange thing is that when I try to change resolution (in Monitor & Display), I could decide between these :
1280 x 1024
1152 x 864
1024 x 768
832 x 624...
But the second, the fourth, ... are not defined in the xorg.conf file (described at the end of the post) ... is that possible ??
So if anyone could help me....
Seb
