Sorry for the lame and I'm SURE asked to many times " how do I install a program / software ".


I'm completly green ..................... How would I go about installing a program ? Can some one direct me to a small program of any sort and guide me from step ONE so that I may get an idea of whats involved ?

What I am eventually aiming at is that Cinnerlla or what ever its called video editor for linux.
