Seems whenever I add or remove icons the spacing is all screwed up. Have to do the right click "Sort icon". Already have "align to grid" and so on checked. Windows solved this problem ages ago. Was wondering is there's an auto arrange program or such that'll fix this? Thanks.

Re: Is there an icon auto arrange program for Kubuntu
Hmm, mine do snap to locations. I have 'align to grid' & 'sort icons>directories first' both ticked (although believe the second is not relevant here). Try 'line up horizontaly' (which will mess up your icons & disable align to grid), then reenable align to grid and see if that starts it working. Otherwise I'm not sure other than to say that it should work.
Dolphin is the new file browser that replaced konqueror as default starting from Gutsy (I for one however still set konqueror back to the default, its just too good not to be using it).
