    [SOLVED] Disable startup Apps

My box kinda got crazy lately and I don't know what caused it. Every time I log in, the audacious, firefox, kscheduler, and openoffice writer run by themselves. I checked the startup services but I don't see any checked boxes that correspond the such apps...

    Thanks!

A simple way to prevent them from 'starting' is to click on File | Quit on each running application before you perform a shutdown.

Try this: system settings->advanced->session management and activate login with empty session (sorry mine is in German) it should be the 5 item from the top.

Log out and back in again and see what happens.

Hey Fintan...If you don't mind, can I PM you? Just have some stupid questions, and note it's not related to kubuntu at all....
