KDE 4 - Reset to Default?

I'm running Kubuntu 7.10 and just installed KDE 4. Unfortunately, I had added some desktop effects that render KDE 4 unusable (exploding windows or something like that turned my screen black, and won't turn back). Is there a way to restore KDE 4's default settings from outside of KDE 4?

KDE4 settings are in the ~/.kde4 directory tree. If you rename /.kde4 folder, KDE will (should) make new one with default settings. This is for KDE 3.5:

so insert /.kde4 instead of /.kde.
