    Wireless LAN Belkin Help Needed

I'm trying to get Kubuntu 5.10 to recognize my Belkin F5D7000 version 4000 wireless card. This is a dual boot system with Windows2000 Pro. The card works fine with Windows. It uses the driver bcmwl5.sys in Windows. I have tried using ndiswrapper to install bcmwl5.sys, bcmwl5.inf, bcmwl5a.sys and bcmwl5a.inf. when I do "sudo ndiswrapper -l", it tells me that they are all installed, but it says invalid driver beside each of them. Can anyone provide directions in simple English that will help me through this setup? If not, can anyone recommend a wireless card that is affordable and Linux friendly?
