    Open application windows as "Maximized"

    Hey

Whenever I open an application, such as konquerer or Open office, they open in a window that is in "restore" size rather than "Maximize" size. Is there any way to change it so that they open as "Maximize". I hope it is clear what I mean

    Thanks in advance
    Sam

The 'simplest' method, after you have your application window sized as you want it, is to not close the application before performing a normal shutdown. Leave the window(s) open and perform a normal shutdown. The next time you reboot, they will be 'as you left them.'

You should also be able to maximize the window then just hold down shift and close the window (exit). That should save the window settings and work for any application afaik.

Thats the way I've always done it.
