Ubuntu to Kubuntu from Cd

Hello,
I have installed Ubuntu (Gnome) and I want to install Kubuntu (Kde) desktop. I read that I hava to install the metapackage but how can I install it from the cd since I can't use my modem.

Have you tried this? KMenu > System > Konsole

sudo apt-cdrom add

Sorry but since I am really n00bie can you give me step by step directions.
I thought k-menu was in Kubuntu.

Sorry. You're right. I just put that because we're in the Kubuntu Forums. I realize now you're actually in Gnome. Go to Applications > Accessories > Terminal.
