Adept Manager (or my) misbehaviour (SOLVED)

    Hi there.

I seem to have broken my adept manager.. (again). I suspect I added an address to the Third Party Software repositories, which does not belong there ( i tried to install seamonkey) and ever since, I get this lovely message from Adept saying :

The APT Database could not be opened! This may be caused by incorrect APT configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-setup and apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem.

I tried these solutions yet they haven't yielded any results. When I type anything apt-get related in the Konsole I get:
E: Type 'http://www.seamonkey-project.org/' is not known on line 69 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list and
E: The list of sources could not be read.

I'd like to fix the problem, just don't know where to start. I read several adept-related posts, but since I'm a newbie I'd rather ask for advice before I start playing with the rm commands...

If anyone has an answer to my problem please be very specific as to where and what to type

    byebye

    I break it, therefore I learn it.<br />

Press Alt + F2 and type: kdesudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list

    1) save sources.list to another name (backup before you edit !)
    2) open sources.list and remove those "http://www.seamonkey-project.org/" markings
    3) save and exit

    About seamonkey:

I'm using Seamonkey from Mozilla Projects
    http://www.mozilla.org/projects/

    There is:
    Linux (x86)
Full Installer (14 MB) Download all of the SeaMonkey components and then specify install options.
Net Installer (89 KB) Download only the components you specify.
    tar.gz format (15 MB).
I'm using tar version, just unpack, it is run ready.

    Example:
    Dowaloading seamonkey-1.1.8-us.linux-i686.tar.gz
Unpacking; click seamonkey-1.1.8-us.linux-i686.tar.gz -> ARK will pop up and ask where you want to extract seamonkey (using ~/bin/net/ that is /home/<username>/bin/net/)
Lauch; Seamonkey will start in the konsole:

    Code:
    :~$ ~/bin/net/seamonkey/seamonkey

Adding Seamonkey in the KDE menu:
Highlight an item in the section of K-menu (Internet), right click. A menu will appear, click "Edit menu" option. KDE Menu Editor starts. Now you can add Seamonkey to the menu.

    There is also Ubuntuzilla
    http://ubuntuzilla.wiki.sourceforge.net/
This is the home of the Ubuntuzilla project, which is a python script that allows the user to install the latest versions of Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla SeaMonkey, and Mozilla Thunderbird on Ubuntu Linux. Ubuntuzilla has a support forum on the Ubuntu Forums in the 3rd party projects area, which you are encouraged to use if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.

Thanks Linux Girl for your misbehaviour ! and also to Rog131, for his answer. I was also in trouble with my
Adept Manager. With your request and Rog 131 answer. I was able to adapt it to my problem and solve
in 2 minutes, a problem for witch I had made research in the documentation and goggled for about 4 hours.
Apart from learning how to solve this kind of problem, also learned to come directly to the Forum, were
a bit of " Luck " (for me) somebody will have encountered the same or similar problem.
