Webcam (.aspx) plugin for Linux Firefox?

    Hi,

I need to regularly access a website, which has a live webcam view of the local surf conditions:

    http://www.coastalwatch.com/camera/c...dows&state=VIC

But it looks like the video plugin for the webcam is windows-centric and I can't see to find a plugin that works.

Any idea how I'd be able to view these video-streams in Firefox on Kubuntu...

    Cheers,

    Mike.

If you install Mplayer and Mplayer-plugin from the Medibuntu repo, it should display the stream fine. The only difference may be such as Yahoo!, which uses the jasper library for image display. You should be able to find that program and it's library in the main ubuntu repo.
