OK so what did I do?

I tried to install compiz-fusion and play around. But now I dont have the "close"; "maximize" or "mimanize" feature in the upper right corner of any of my windows. I went back and uninstalled compiz-fusion thinking it was something in there but they havent showed back up. So what did I do?

did you try

kwin --replace

I hope you haven't uninstalled kwin
