    GRUB Error 17

First of all, I realize that this wasn't very bright but I did it. I was looking at my hard drive with Windows and there were three partitions. I was thinking that I didn't really need Kubuntu so I deleted both partitions which were made when I installed it. Now, when I turn on my computer I get a GRUB error 17. Is there anyway to fix this without losing all of the files on the Windows partition which I didn't delete?

You need to use your Windows CD to restore the Master Boot Record (with the Windows bootloader NTLDR). Right now, GRUB is still in the MBR, but you deleted (in those 2 partitions) the thing GRUB was point to.

Thanks. I tried that and it worked. My computer is running really slowly now but at least I can use it.
