But UPS says I need to have MS windows installed to run it. They don't know anything about linux let alone kubuntu. I don't have enough memory to dual boot or whatever it's called. I'm wondering if it would run under wine or "x"(whatever that does) or something. It is the only windows app I need. TIA

You can try to run it with wine. There are two ways to do this.
First:
-navigate to the folder with the installer for worldship
-right click on file and select 'Open with wine...'
Second:
-open konsole and cd to directory with the installer
-start installer with 'wine worldship...exe'
I don't have an account to download the software to test it. Keep us updated.
