    Problems with OO pdf-export

Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this. If there's a better place, please move the topic.

I have trouble exporting Open Office files as pdf's. The export works fine, but all quotation marks simply disappear in the pdf-file (instead, there are blank spaces). I tried "lossless compression" and I tried several viewers to make sure the problem is not viewer-related. I am using OO 2.3 and Gutsy Gibbon.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading this.

Is there difference if you ?:

In the OO: Print > Print to the File (foo.ps)

    In the konsole:
    Code:
    ps2pdf foo.ps

    man ps2pdf:
    PS2PDF(1) Ghostscript PS2PDF(1)

    NAME
ps2pdf - Convert PostScript to PDF using ghostscript
    ps2pdf12 - Convert PostScript to PDF 1.2 (Acrobat 3-and-later compati‐
    ble) using ghostscript
    ps2pdf13 - Convert PostScript to PDF 1.3 (Acrobat 4-and-later compati‐
    ble) using ghostscript...

      Re: Problems with OO pdf-export

I've had OO.org's pdf export scramble some characters and especially diacriticals too.
In the meantime, I use KDE's PDF printer - it's less interactive than I would have liked, but works. You'll find the "printout" in ~/PDF/ folder.
