    Toshiba Sat. U200-153 and bluetooth

    How can I get my bluetooth to function? Installed the bluez-utils package.. And also restarted it after installing..
    My bluetooth device won't show up when I use "lsusb" (Kubuntu Gutsy)

    I've found the easiest way is to set the bluetooth on your computer to revealed and then connect to it from your phone. Having done that your laptop will be able to see the phone and then you can do your thing. For some reason I for one at least have not been able to see the phone without first doing this.

      When I start KBluetooth it says "No bluetooth adapter"..

        Sorry, I misread your first post.

        Googled around and apparently for some reason the bluetooth in Toshiba satellites is off by default with linux, but here are a couple of links about how to turn it on. There are two methods using either hci or acpi:
