1st - I have read that linux based systems do not generally suffer from file fragmentation. Why is this?
2nd - I have heard that running torrent and/or gnutella apps causes a lot of fragmentation on linux hard drives. Is this true?
3rd - Are there 3rd party defraggers that are stable and won't hurt my system if I decide to run torrent or gnutella apps?
Thanks in advance!
