A little help? RE: Adept.

When I try to open Adept I get

"Another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other Adapt application or apt-get or aptitude)" >

Even rebooting doesn't help.

Please help me make this go away.

try
sudo dpkg --configure -a
from:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...t=adept+locked

and again
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo dpkg --configure -a
from:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...t=adept+locked

it also worked ok for me yesterday!
