K 7.10 KNetworkManager won't run

I have a new install of K 7.10 and am having a terrible time trying to connect to Verizon DSL. I was going to use KNetworkManager to try to see if I can do anything to fix my DSL problem, but it WON'T RUN!!!

What do I have to do to get the thing (KNetworkManager) to run?

This is getting crazy. Everything I want to do doesn't work.

Pretty soon it's back to Windows.

need a little more info on what you have/havenot done to connect. could you connect with windows? have you setup your account (username and password) with verizon?

try this in the mean time.click on system settings under kmenu then click on network settings then click on admistrator mode button thenclick on your ethernet device then click on automatic in the tcp/ip window that pops up then click on ok then make sure you save the settings and try to connect. hope this helps.
