Flash Videos No Sound

Kubuntu 6.06 Dapper user
Totally new to Linux/(K)ubuntu (first day)

Managed to get mp3s and videos working... Flash, (youtube etc), on the other hand...

Managed to get it via Firefox plug-ins. However, got no sound in videos...

I downloaded the tar.gz file from the site, think I installed that correctly (opened in the konsole, pressed enter through terms etc)...

No luck at all in Konqueror. Firefox seems to be the only thing with Flash working, just no sound. I've Googled for a few hours, etc, can't find the solution.. Any help would be appreciated; solution or alternative..

Just did

sudo aptitude install alsa-oss

And that seems to have worked.
