Kubuntu install over PClinuxOS (Kubuntu- not worth the hassel)

Can anyone help this idiot w/ how to launch Kubuntu LiveCD in a PCLinuxOS box.

I recently build a new box using PCOS. I would like to change to KU/K4 but can not get the livecd to boot or launch from filemgr

The livecd launces fine from my Windows boxes... and from a dual boot Win/PCOS box

I am thinking it might be a hardware issue w/ the dvd/cd drives, however the PCOS CD launched and installed on that box w/o any problems

I have tried both Kubuntu LiveCd expanced and rar'ed- but no joy..

Not intended to suggest otherwise, but .....

Did you 'burn to CD' the .iso you downloaded?

That's probably true. May I suggest Slack or Gentoo for you..
