Install of Firefox 3 Beta 2

    Hi,

In the Adept Manager I did a search for "Firefox 3 Beta" and did find it; I would to know if the version I will install through using Adept Manager is the one available at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html" or should I download it and make a manual install (which I have still never did in Kubuntu). If so can you direct me to a link where the manual process of Firefox in Kubuntu is explained ?

    Thanks in advance

When I did a fresh install of Gutsy on a rebuilt system for a test, I did find FF 3 in the Repos there. It did great except for Extensions and Themes. Those aren't ready yet. I was told that the Repo version isn't up to date from what is available on FF's web site. So, I'd personally would look there first but I would also wait until it is official and has packages for Kubuntu, that way you can make sure it integrates properly, especially if you already have the latest stable release.
