NEED HELP adept manager canot open error

Hi so this is what i did, i needed to get dvd player working but i broke adept this is what i do

in the program I added http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/gutsy.list now
it does not want to open it shows

The apt database could not be opened! This may be caused by incorrect
Apt configuration or some similar problem. Try running apt-setup and
apt-get update in terminal and see if it helps to resolve the problem.

Tried that and
jaime@jaime-laptop:~$ apt-setup
bash: apt-setup: command not found

just incase i did

jaime@jaime-laptop:~$ apt-get update
E: Type 'http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/gutsy.listdeb' is not known on line 56 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list

How do I fix this?

You need to edit your /etc/apt/sources.list file and remove (delete) the entry you added - it isn't the correct syntax.
