SOLVED!!How Do I Force an App to Start Maximized?

A big Thank You! to Rog131 for a concise, polite and friendly bit of advice.

    Hello,

Is there a way, using the KDE (GUI), to force an application to start in a maximized window when the link is clicked? In Windows(XP), this can be set in the "properties" context menu for the Shortcut (link). Is there an equivalent function in Kubuntu (KDE)?

    One way to do it:

Right click an application border > Advanced > Special Application Settings > Geometry tab:

Size | Remember/Force | If you are using "Remember" then Maximise window before you close it. If you are using "Force" put dimensions on the last box.

    or

Fullscreen | Force | cross in the box

Alt + F3 is your friend with fullscreen .
