Volume on the notebook is very low.

On the notebook my volume is very low. When I use fn+vol up it goes just to 11% and then stop.

Anybody knows how to work this out?

Try running "alsamixer" and adjust some volumes in there.

You can either use Adept (KMenu>System>Adept Manager, scroll down to alsamixer and the alsamixer GUI front-end, and mark it for installation, then click "Apply") or else open a Konsole window and do this:

sudo apt-get install alsamixer alsamixergui
