Adept locked

I tried to install some stuff with adept and it crashed, now it's telling me it's locked. I seem to remember reading that there were a series of terminal commands that could bring adept out of this type of funk. If anyone can help out that'd be great.

Adept/apt-get repair:

Close all windows that have anything to do with installing packages, open your Konsole, and enter
3 commands:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
then,
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -f install

Others to use:
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get -f install This may be a “best” choice (?)
sudo apt-setup

dpkg
Damaged or Interrupted (when using apt-get).
At Konsole, run sudo dpkg --configure -a


And, sometimes it helps to re-start X:
Ctr-Alt-Backspace

And sometimes it helps to simply re-start.
