umm..can I make my own Kubuntu CD?? ..with my own selection of useful packages?

I would like to make my own Kubuntu CD. In it are selection of packages and softwares that
I often use in web/applications development like Apache2.0, MySQL, PHP, and Zend Studio?
Is it possible? Is it legal? Can you help me?

    you sure can!

there are numerous how-to's out there, and this tool as well, so there is more than one way to do what you want to.

I know Red Hat have developed a bit of software called revisor that does precisely that on Fedora, see this link for some info.
      http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Syste...or-27672.shtml
It creates both live cds and installable versions.
I'm not trying to plug Fedora but I'm not sure that it will work with Kubuntu.
I read something about reconstructor that does something along those lines but I don't know much about it.

Actually that was one of the brand new Fedora 8's big claims to fame. They have tried to make it as easy as possible to create 'spins'. Looks like an exciting new development for linux and one that is bound to spread to all the major desktop distros over the next year or so. They already have three official ones, one for gamers, one for developers and one other, and no doubt no shortage community ones by now.

Nice to see there are a couple of tools already for doing this with k/ubuntu.
