    Free disk space usage error

Perhaps I am being a muppet, but I am having an issue with drive sizes. I have an 80gig ext3 drive mounted on my system. I have been using it to hold data while I partition other drives and then I copied them back. However I now have 15 gig of data stored on the drive. However the drive properties (and gpartition) is saying I only have 700mb free! 99% usage! Perhaps my maths is worse than I think, but that doesn't add up! Any ideas why this is happening?

    Maybe this:

    FAQ: Free Disk Space
    http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3086353.0

    or this:

Topic: Disk shows 100G used but when I total up folders it should be <45G
    http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3082439.0

helps (to check what is eating space).
