    hello i am not sure how i can watch a dvd on linux so i am asking you lot for help
    I love fairy's i would love to become one as they are so beautiful and special. I changed my name it used to be amber123.

    Yes, but you need to do some installs first. The Ubuntu way is here - things are slightly different in Kubuntu, but it is not that difficult to use these:

      i have kubuntu i have done some downloads

        OK, if you have done the downloads indicated in the links, then install VLC media player. It should be available in Adept Manager. Then you open VLC media player, File -> Open disk, and you should be in the menues.

        Or you can use Kaffeine. I don't have available a Kubuntu PC with DVD just now, you have to experiment a little. It seems most say the VLC is the best - I have no strong opinion here.
