how do i make my panel on the left match the widgets translucency on the right there? Also does anyone know of any similar karamba widgets that take up the whole screens length and leave no room for a panel at the bottom? Cheers

Simple.
Right click on taskbar, select Configure Panel... > select Appearance > Click Advanced Options
From here you can adjust the color and level of translucency.

...I don't know how this guys done this, he's got his widget and his control panel to match perfectly - I've played about with the tint and used colour match and it only seems to match when tint is on full but then nothings really transparent and even then there's still a definite line between the two - thought wallpaper image might play some part in it so changed my wallpaper and still no luck?
looking at his they both seem to be transparent with no joining lines?
