watch streaming video?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/mightyboosh/ - if you go to this site and click on watch the new episode at the top, its that video that I am trying to view, i get the choice to open it in VLC but VLC just opens then plays nothing, even though i have a plugin installed for streaming video?

What can I use to view videos on that site?

I watched the beginning of this. It opened in RealPlayer10 and played. The magic missing element of VLC is possible w32codecs.
