No applications in taskbar?

Honestly, I have no clue how it happened, but applications do not show in my task bar anymore. Somehow it just cleared out, and I had to add a bunch of apps to the taskbar, like the desktop switcher, clock and KDE start button.

Any idea on how to get my applications back on there?

If you are asking about the system tray that shows all of your running applications, then here is a simple fix:

Right click on the taskbar > Add Applet to Panel... > System Tray > Add to Panel.

There are other applets you can add as well, such as K-menu and Pager.
