I have 2 computers connected to one monitor, keyboard and mouse via a KVM switch. Both computers are connected wirelessly thru a router. I am trying to access my pictures on the Vista computer from Kubuntu 7.10.
When I go to Network then Samba shares I can see the other computer and file system but when I click on documents it tells me the correct server name and ask for a user id and password. I have tried the user id and password I use on the vista computer and even made a new account and tried it but nothing seems to work. Just keeps asking for user id and password.
Anyone have any ideas how I can get this to work
