What did you do 'before' it disappeared? What version of *ubuntu - Dapper, Edgy, Feisty, Gutsy?Windows no longer obstructs my view.

Right-click where the K Menu 'was' and select Panel Menu | Add Applet to Panel | Show Special Buttons and scroll down and select K MenuWindows no longer obstructs my view.
