    Root Acess

I can only use the kde settings like disks and filesystems where it asks for a su password on the first session after installing. Once the computer has been restarted when i enter the password nothing happens. I am entering the right password, my user password. It does this on both my laptop and my main computer. Anybody have any ideas?

    Thanks
    Daniel Reid

        Re: Root Acess

Edit your /etc/apt/sources.list (kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list)
add the following line : deb http://kubuntu.org/packages/kde35 breezy main
        then type in konsole :
        wget http://people.ubuntu.com/~jriddell/k...iddell-key.gpg
        sudo apt-key add kubuntu-packages-jriddell-key.gpg

        sudo apt-get update
        sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

        Cheers
