    Ipod photo sync

I'm having trouble syncing my photos to my iPod. I got the iPod last Christmas, so about 10 months ago, and it's a video iPod. First, Digikam told me that the iPod is invalid and doesn't support photos. I thought the problem was with Digikam, so I got GPixPod. That program told me that my iPod cannot display photos because it doesn't have a color screen and it never will! Thanks, GPixPod! What is going on here?

Need to add that right after GPixPod told me I had no color screen, I went to my windose computer and loaded pics to my ipod in seconds. What is going on?

When I try to open the database of my G1 iPod nano, Gpixpod claims that I connected an “iPod None” and it will never be supported because it doesn’t support photos and it doesn’t have a color screen…
Is this just hatered for iPod nano or…

I have a 30GB video iPod that DOES support photos and I get the same error message. I went through the menus and it doesn’t seem to support any video iPod over 5 GB.
