Nvidia driver

Hello!
Can anyone please tell me how to install the driver for my Nvidia card in Kubuntu?
I'm completely new to Linux and have no clue how any of this linux stuff works.

I believe all you need to do is:

sudo apt-get install nvidia-glx

...then edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and change "driver" to "nvidia" and remove "GLcore" in section "modules".
