DivX Transcoding

I used to use a different operating system and this was relatively painless with that.

I'm trying to rip a dvd to divx, using dvd::rip

dvd::rip has an option for divx5 (that doesn't work), but I've installed divx6 and can't get it to see the newer codec. I have used xvid4 on dvd::rip and that seems to work well (albeit slow), but I would rather use divx for the sake of compatible devices etc...

Is there any other software that'll do what I'm after?
