    After updates it happened again.
    I have the following suspects now:

    * updates
    * superkaramba
    * skype

    As these are the only things I installed.

      Hi,

      You can open a konsole, type in "top" and you will see the consumption of cpu by process. If you don't get what is the highest consumer just ask what process it is.

        Superkaramba seems to be a little flaky -- at least it was when I was running it on Gutsy Beta. The installed theme would appear to "disappear" from the desktop, but the process was still running, and if you didn't know that you might re-run the theme, which would simply start another process. I had 3 of them running before I figured what was going on. :P
