Making executables clickable

Hi all,

On my desktop is a "Hello World" program that works if I go into terminal and execute it with ./hello - how do I make it clickable, so if I click on it on the desktop it loads up?

Right-click on the desktop, "Create New", "Link to Application", then in the "Application" tab hit "Browse ..." and navigate to your program. This should do the trick.

Or maybe right click on the desktop --> Configure desktop --> Behavior --> Allow programs in desktop window (enabled)
