I would like to replace OpenOffice 2.2 with version 2.3.
Since version 2.3 is not in the Kubuntu / Ubuntu repository (and therefore can't be installed by ADEPT), I've download the .deb version from OpenOffice.org and used ARK to un-gzip it.
However, I haven't been able to figure out how to get dpkg to install it (after using either ADEPT or KPackage to remove OpenOffice 2.2, of course) -- I get numerous error messages about the dependencies among the various .deb files in the archive.
