I am attempting to install the new version of lm_sensors in order to get the Superkaramba theme, Sysmaloon, to read system information; whenever I try to make the install file, I get the error message "make: *** No rule to make target 'linux/i2c-proc.h', needed by 'prog/sensors/chips.rd'. Stop.". Do I have any missing dependencies or what should I do to fix this?

Re: Can't install new version of lm_sensors
Make sure you have installed lm-sensors, libsensors3, libsensor-dev. This is what I use to setup lm-sensors for both Kubuntu & Ubuntu works every time. All questions should be answered yes when running sensors-detect.

Re: Can't install new version of lm_sensors
I still can't get the new version to compile. whenever I try to compile it, it gives me the error message below . . .
(edit: If I could configure the version in adept to detect my system sensors, I wouldn't need the new version; I know it has sensors for CPU and internal temps, voltage, and fan speeds because they are listed in bios. All lm_sensors detects are temps for Core0 and Core1, which, I suppose are the CPU and internal temps. I attempted to edit Sysmaloon to read and interperet them as such, but being only barely familiar with the Python programming language, I can only do so much.)Attached FilesAsus G1S-X3:

Re: Can't install new version of lm_sensors
Nevermind, frag all of the above. I followed the link linuxwizard provided me more carefully this time and "REBOOTED", and was successful. Funny how little things like rebooting can affect a system's performance. Thank you linuxwizardAsus G1S-X3:
