Unmet Dependencies libdevmapper_ Edgy

Need Help! Ran an update and cannot get to gui. libdevmapper 1.02 had no installation candidate.

Tried 'sudo apt-get install libdevmapper 1.02' and am getting response of " unmet dependencies has no installation candidate".

Does anyone have a command line that may work?
