Dear Kubuntu Community
I have a question regarding changing the behavior of the automounting of hotplugged devices.
A USB harddrive gets mounted with noexec (as checked with the mount command on the console). This is not desired in my case, since i would like to run shell scripts from the automounted device.
How can the automount settings be changed such that a user can execute on an automounted usb device?
I searched for a few hours and found 2 posts on this forum (unfortunately not solving the question). I also tried to "override" automount's settings by writing mount info into /etc/fstab, with no success.
Thank you in advance and with the best wishes
