plz help me im a noobie

i want to install a theme on kubuntu that makes it look like vista, and are there any gadgets like vista, where u have a weather thingy and a clock?

also i have a problem with cedega, it runs warcraft 3 very slowly
i didnt install the graphics driver cuz i have a problem with it, ineed help if someone can hel pme, i cant start kubuntu cuz i tried modifying the xorg config file and now my kubuntu wont work, plz someon ehelp me.

why use cedega why not use WINE?

the crystal theme has a button position like vista, but why vista make it your own.

i use cedega cuz wine runs at 2 fps

its the default theme installed on kde look in the window decorations section under the appearance and themes section

I had no clue about the wine thing sorry? Is cedega worth paying for?

ya kinda need a graphics driver or you wont get decent fps in anything. Also depends on the video card. I have an ATI and it does not realize its full potential on Linux but does do decently for most things. Download Envy and it will install any NVidia or ATI driver automatically.

can you get to the terminal?

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

If you cannot get to the terminal, reboot in recovery mode and the type:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

or simply:

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Try installing superkaramba from adept/sysnaptic and open it (K->Utilities->superkaramba). You will find loads of widgets (thingys )

For weather, liquid weather is cool.
For clocks, well there are so many to choose from

Sure, just delete it. Then you can run your Linux system strictly from the command line interface. It's pretty trouble-free.

Can you post the type of card you are using and maybe your x.config? That would definitely be of help.
