connection to the internet with kubuntu desktop (SOLVED)

hi all
i am very new to kubuntu and love it

although its only a desktop

i have ubuntu installed and can connect to internet with the keyring manager

but if i log into kubuntu first i can not get on internet,i have to log in to ubuntu first,give my password in the keyring manager,then log off and log into kubuntu and the internet works great,now how can i log straight into kubuntu and go straight on the internet without loggin into ubuntu first ?

sorry if this has already been asked before,i did search but could not find anything

What kind of internet are you using? Wireless? DSL? Dialup?
